Does the RC-2471 come with the concealed cistern tank?
No — the toilet bowl is sold separately from the concealed cistern (hidden tank). The cistern is available in three options: Full Frame (floor-to-ceiling steel frame with concealed tank, for new constructions), Half Frame (smaller frame for mid-wall installation), and Without Frame (just the tank unit for walls already built to receive it). What is a rimless toilet and why is it better?
Traditional toilets have an inner rim around the top of the bowl — a narrow channel through which water flows during flushing. This rim is a prime location for bacteria, mould, and limescale build-up that is nearly impossible to clean properly. A rimless toilet removes this rim entirely — water is distributed directly across the bowl surface in a powerful, even flush, making it far more hygienic and dramatically easier to clean. Just one wipe with a toilet brush covers the entire surface.
Can I set the height of a wall hung toilet?
Yes — this is one of the key advantages of wall-hung toilets. The installation frame is adjustable, allowing you to set the finished seat height to exactly 38–46 cm from the floor (or whatever height works best for your users). We strongly recommend using an experienced plumber or bathroom fitter familiar with concealed cistern systems. Improper installation can cause leaks behind the wall which are expensive to repair.
Can it be installed in any bathroom?
Wall-hung toilets require a wall strong enough to support the weight of the toilet and user (typically 400 kg load capacity via the steel frame). They work best with solid masonry walls or stud walls with appropriate blocking. Your plumber should assess wall suitability before installation.
Is the black finish durable?
Yes — the black colour is integral to the ceramic glaze, not a surface coating. It will not chip, peel, or fade with normal use. Clean with a soft cloth and mild cleaner; avoid abrasive products.
